Supportive Resources

The University, Community, and Department have a variaty of resources to support students for any situation related to academic, personal, and external pressures. This resource is a dynamic list of offices, resources, webpages and information to better support students related to mental health, physical health, financial support, communication issues, academic inquires, and many more. Graduate Handbook

This handbook clarifies the requirements and policies that apply to all graduate students. Additional requirements are found in the UC Chemistry Handbook. 

Bearcat Promise Career Studio

This resource is on campus and includes in person and online support for career advancement. Includes meeting with a professional career coach or peer career coach in TUC room 310, using HandshakeBigInterview

CareerShift, or for international students Interstride.

Graduate College Resource Guide

This guide includes great information for understanding academic platforms like CanopyOneStop: Enrollment Services, and more.

International Services

For international students, support occurs at application, arrival, and current including resources on admissions, immigration/visas, taxes, and more. There is also an exhaustive list of cultural and national groups to join.

Finally ready to graduate? Check out the check list, deadlines for submission, commencement ceremony details, and more.

Catalyst

This platform is the student information system at UC. This is used for registering for classes, viewing term bills, paying fees, paychecks, and viewing transcripts. There are video tutorials for how to view classes, change classes, withdraw, etc.

What to do ON and OFF campus

UC Physical and Mental Health

All graduate students receive 100% reimbursed health insurance. These are resources for support on many issues, but not all so please reach out if you would like help finding physical or mental health support.
